The sound of an early morning rain, leading me to imagine how very soaked to the skin I would be if I were inadvertently caught in it.  Glancing out the window I see the glistening clusters of deep green leaves on the lilac bush jumping under the impact of the raindrops, enjoying the soaking.

The youngest of the 2sisters having a great visit with relatives in Winnipeg, getting to know her oma, and enjoying a trip to the cottage in northwest Ontario.  I know she will appreciate the spectacular sunsets.

Fresh strawberries, sweet and juicy, staining my fingers red.
